Being Patriotic

November 7 - the day of political climax, that is, if faulty voting machines or procedures aren't involved (perhaps we should disqualify the results from Florida and Ohio right now)- is when liberals and conservatives will watch voting tallies and either sigh in relief or groan in despair. The boxing gloves of voting citizens will come out of the closet all in the name of democracy!

Okay, I'm being a bit over-zealous; this is the United States where citizens don't realize that part of their social obligation is to research (this doesn't mean just finding out party affiliation...this means researching political history) candidates and cast a vote. Of course, those citizens old enough to vote and have no clue what the Bill of Rights are, frankly, shouldn't vote. It's like handing a drunk car keys.

Be a patriot - read the Bill of Rights, and vote to protect them.
